More than 10 new secondary vocational education clusters will start working in the Far East by the end of 2027, said Director of the Corporation’s Labor Resources Department Kirill Klimenko.“Thanks to the Professionality program, 36 clusters have already been working in the Far East. Four more will be opened by September 1, 2026, and another 13 will be established on the basis of colleges and vocational schools in 2027. The annual increment will make up about 30 percent. The clusters’ establishment will require 1.2 billion rubles,” the corporation press service quotes him as saying.Kirill Klimenko also said that the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic has been working jointly with the corporation over building 600 plus workshops by 2030: 447 of them have already been opened and 68 more will be operational this year.The corporation is developing new educational programs to meet key demands of the macroregional enterprises as well. To date, they are using 150 educational programs, including: Mechatronics and Mobile Robotics for the Zhatay Shipyard, a project being implemented as a resident of the Yakutia priority development area (PDA), as well as Bioengineering and Bioinformatics and Non-Destructive Testing Technician projects that have been launched for the benefit of such residents of the Primorye PDA as Arnika company and Zvezda Shipyard.

More than 10 new secondary vocational education clusters will start working in the Far East by the end of 2027, said Director of the Corporation’s Labor Resources Department Kirill Klimenko.
“Thanks to the Professionality program, 36 clusters have already been working in the Far East. Four more will be opened by September 1, 2026, and another 13 will be established on the basis of colleges and vocational schools in 2027. The annual increment will make up about 30 percent. The clusters’ establishment will require 1.2 billion rubles,” the corporation press service quotes him as saying.
Kirill Klimenko also said that the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic has been working jointly with the corporation over building 600 plus workshops by 2030: 447 of them have already been opened and 68 more will be operational this year.
“We have invested 3.7 billion rubles in these state-of-the-art workshops. Cities’ master plans provide for launching seven university clusters as well as two clusters for the system of secondary vocational education in Buryatia and Yakutia. All of this creates in total the necessary infrastructure for training skilled specialists for the macroregional economy,” he added.
