Within the next three years, it is planned to normalize 234.4 kilometers of local roads at the cost of 2.4 billion rubles, Press Service of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reports.
The 2026 things-to-do-list includes the construction of a Botulu-Kharbala road, overhaul of Aldanskaya Street at the village of Maia, and repairs on the approach road to the Mikhail Nikolayev Research and Educational Center at the village of Oktyomsky.
Before 2030, it has also been planned to repair about 10 kilometers of streets at the villages of Nizhny Bestiakh and Amga. The stretches to be repaired are approaches to social infrastructure facilities, including educational and medical institutions.
Yakutia’s Government and Ministry of Transport attach much importance to developing the road network in the republic. Between 2020 and 2025, the local road fund allocated 6 billion rubles in subsidies for road construction and repairs. This helped to normalize 513 kilometers of local roads.
