President orders to create an Arctic park-museum in Krasnoyarsk
The Government is to submit proposals on creating a park zone before February 1, 2026. An instruction to this effect has been published on the Kremlin website.
The document says that the Government of Russia, the authorities of the Arctic territories, and the Russian Geographical Society have been instructed to submit proposals on creating a park-cum-museum dedicated to Arctic exploration on Molokov Island in Krasnoyarsk. It also underscores the need to study the issues involved in forming the museum collection and financing the future museum.
The group responsible for project implementation includes Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Mikhail Kotyukov, and President of the Russian Geographical Society Sergei Shoigu.
