The Trans-Baikal Territory’s annual subsidy for the development of the tourism industry will be increased to 47.3 million rubles in 2026, the Press Service of the local Ministry of Economic Development reports. 

“We will be able to use the unified subsidy to support various initiatives, such as organizing tourism events, developing holiday camps, and purchasing equipment to promote the territory’s tourism potential,” the region’s Minister of Economic Development Zhargalma Badmazhapova said.  

The funds are expected to increase the number of tourist trips in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
