Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment sums up exploration results of 2025
A total of 317 deposits of solid minerals and hydrocarbons have been recorded on the state balance sheet. Discoveries were also made in the Far East and the Arctic, according to the ministry's press service.
Two deposits of rare raw materials were discovered in 2025: Gozogor in the Trans-Baikal Territory with 5.1 million tons of fluorspar reserves and Getkanchik in the Amur Region with 5,500 tons of tungsten reserves, where 800 kg of gold has also been discovered.
The Golevskoye deposit has been discovered in the Trans-Baikal Territory, with reserves of synnyrite ores amounting to almost 164 million tons, which are a source of unconventional potassium-aluminum raw materials.
Major deposits include: the Gravyiskoye copper deposit in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with proven reserves of 243,400 tons of copper and 242 tons of silver. The “gold” leaders include the Dubach deposit in the Magadan Region with 14.7 tons of gold and the Kayurkovskoye deposit in the Kamchatka Territory with reserves amounting to 10.8 tons of gold and 12 tons of silver. In total, out of 317 deposits discovered last year, 276 contain solid minerals.
In addition, we have 41 deposits of hydrocarbons, out of which 31 are oil fields. The largest are: the Tolaveiskoye gas condensate field in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area with reserves of 54.4 billion cubic meters of gas and 20.4 million tons of condensate, Mezeninskoye in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with 49.7 billion cubic meters of gas, and the Alexei Kontorovich field in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area with reserves of 30.3 billion cubic meters of gas, 7 million tons of oil, and 0.4 million tons of condensate.
“The favorable previous period growth of reserves remains for most of the raw materials. The total increment in the balance sheet reserves made up 614 tons of gold, 3 million tons of copper, 938.1 million tons of coal, 984.2 million tons of iron ore, titanium – 17.3 million tons, tungsten – 5.5 thousand tons, nepheline and synnyrite ores – 1.5 million tons and 163.9 million tons, respectively. According to updated information, the reserves of oil and condensate of all categories increased by 640 million tons and of gas by 670 billion cubic meters,” said Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Alexander Kozlov.
