Amendments to the procedure for providing social payments for the purchase, delivery and construction of low-rise timber housing have been approved at a meeting of the regional government.Under the updated rules, priority access to housing support will be granted to large families from among the indigenous small-numbered peoples, provided that the eldest child is under 18 years of age, or under 23 if enrolled in full-time education at an accredited educational institution.“Supporting large families from among indigenous small-numbered peoples is not only a matter of social justice, but also a strategic investment in preserving traditional ways of life, developing northern territories, and securing the future of northern indigenous communities,” Head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory’s Agency for Developing Northern Areas and Supporting Small Indigenous Ethnic Groups Anton Narchuganov said.
