Winners and prize recipients of Olympiads, educators-mentors and participants in professional competitions will be eligible for lumpsum payments, according to the press service of the government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.

From now on, not only teachers who had trained 10-11 grade students who got 100 points at the USE, but also educators of primary and middle schools who had laid the foundation of high school students’ knowledge, will be entitled to cash bonuses totaling 50,000 rubles each.

Winners of municipal stages of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren, as well as their mentors, will receive 10,000 rubles each. 

Winners and prize recipients of final stages of first-level Olympiads, stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Science, will get paid for the first time. Winners from Yamal and their mentors will be able to receive 20,000 rubles, and prize winners and mentors are entitled to 10,000 rubles. The federal ministry approves this document every year, and the 2025/2026 list included 83 competitions in various subjects and fields.

The region has also approved awards for categories of professional competitions similar to their federal equivalents. Finalists placing first in the categories Master of the Year, Educator of the Year and First Teacher will be able to receive 150,000 rubles. Those placing second and third will be eligible for 100,000 and 50,000 rubles, respectively. Bonuses are also stipulated for finalists of the Educator-Psychologist, Teacher – Speech Therapist and Additional Education Specialist competitions. They will be eligible for 100,000, 75,000 and 25,000 rubles if their students place first, second and third, respectively.
