A quad, a chainsaw, and a power-saw bench have been added to the list of purchases whose cost can be reimbursed to representatives of indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North, the regional Government’s Press Service reports.The compensation limit on purchases of certain costly equipment such as a snowmobile, an outboard engine, or a boat has been extended from 200,000 to 500,000 rubles in view of their grown market price. “This support measure is available once every five years. Each year, about 100 people apply for a compensation,” Director of the Department of Youth Policy, Civic Initiatives and External Ties at the Government of Yugra Yakov Samokhvalov said.
