Government approves a bill on registering indigenous peoples of the North
The Government has approved a bill on registering the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Russian Far East.
It is noted that the bill has been drafted to rule out legal regulation uncertainties involved in confirming the nomadic and/or semi-nomadic way of life led by some small-numbered indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Russian Far East for the purpose of their registration.
