Starting September 1, children from large families in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be eligible to free meals at schools, colleges and vocational schools regardless of their parents’ income, said Chairman of the Territory’s Legislative Assembly Alexei Dodatko.

Free meals will also be provided to over 1,700 children with special health needs and children with no pupil status with disabilities.

“We help every child who needs support,” noted Alexei Dodatko.

It was reported earlier that the increase in the cost and calorific value of school meals will apply to school cafeterias in the Arctic zone.
