Yamal entrepreneurs invited to participate in local business promotion project
Entrepreneurs from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area will be able to participate in the Made in Yamal project, which offers a regional quality mark and comprehensive support for promoting their products, from marketing tools to marketplace access, according to the regional government’s press service.
Manufacturers who have been operating in Yamal for at least a year and are selling in at least three retail stores will be eligible to join the project. These businesses will have the opportunity to place their products in a designated Made in Yamal online section across Russian marketplaces and benefit from professional photography.
“Almost 70 manufacturers currently operate under the Made in Yamal brand – mostly private entrepreneurs, along with some large businesses. We are focused on promoting the regional quality mark. This initiative is aimed at attracting more entrepreneurs who can use the brand and receive support in enhancing brand awareness and expanding their sales reach,” said Valery Mironov, Director of the Economy Department of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.
Applications are open from October 6 to November 14 via the official website of the local My Business center. Entrepreneurs can apply using their business accounts. Successful applicants will be able to operate under the Made in Yamal mark for three years, according to the press service.
