Children of reindeer breeders and chum-keepers in the Nenets Autonomous Area receive preschooler satchels
Preschooler satchels have been sent to agricultural cooperatives and the Yamb To family-clan community. They will be distributed among the children of reindeer breeders and chum-keepers who migrate with their nomadic parents, according to the press service of the Domestic Policy Department in the Nenets Autonomous Area.
The satchels were purchased in accordance with the State Program for Preserving Small Indigenous Ethnic Groups in the Nenets Autonomous Area. Each satchel contains stationery, educational games, notebooks, painting albums, calligraphic copybooks and fairy-tale collections.
This measure will help children, who constantly migrate with their parents in areas of traditional economic activity and do not attend preschool institutions, prepare for school, the press service reported.
