Russia withdraws from the agreement with the Euro-Arctic region on emergency prevention
The Foreign Ministry of Russia has posted a document to this effect on the official website for legal information.
“The Agreement between the governments of the member states of the Barents/Euro-Arctic Council on cooperation in emergency prevention, preparedness and response, signed in Moscow on December 11, 2008 shall be terminated in relations between the Russian Federation and the other Parties to the Agreement,” reads the Foreign Ministry message.
