Yury Trutnev: 153 rental apartments receive tenants in Khabarovsk Territory and Chukotka capitals

Tenants have moved into 113 new rental apartments in Khabarovsk, and an additional 40 apartments have opened for occupancy in Anadyr. Tenants include doctors, teachers, young specialists under 35 years, employees of defense industry enterprises and representatives of other highly popular careers, according to Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev.

A rental building in Khabarovsk is sited on a land plot, received by the developer following an auction for the right to sign a comprehensive territorial development contract. There are plans to build over 600,000 square meters of housing on the 66.9-hectare land plot. Three 40-apartment buildings are already under construction in Anadyr. There are plans to open 286 apartments for occupancy in the capital of the Chukotka Autonomous Area by late 2027.

One family will pay about 4,600 rubles for a 20 square meter apartment in the capital of the Khabarovsk Territory, and a 19,500-ruble rent is envisaged for an 83-square meter apartment. Subsidies from federal and regional budgets will reduce rent payments for a 36.5 square meter apartment to 12,100 rubles; and it will take 19,900 rubles to rent a 59.4 square meter apartment.

Tenants received 3,188 apartments in nine regions under the affordable Far Eastern and Arctic rental housing program.

“Tenants pay about 25 percent of apartments’ market value, and the state subsidizes all other expenses. This program makes it possible to help those already living and working in the Far East and to attract additional specialists. Consequently, it incentivizes the development of the microregion’s economy and improves people’s standards of living,” Yury Trutnev said.
