Khabarovsk to get Orekhovaya substation and new power transmission line by late 2026
The construction project is financed from an infrastructure loan worth over one billion rubles for supplying power to the future Orekhovaya residential area in Khabarovsk, as per the press service of the regional government.
Two transformers with a rated capacity of 40 mega-volt amperes each, a prefab modular transformer substation and the main construction materials, including wires and metal pylons, have already been delivered to the construction site. A prefab modular building with pre-installed equipment is currently being purchased.
“When completed, these projects will make it possible to create comfortable living conditions for future Orekhovaya Sopka residents and will greatly expedite the entire residential area’s development,” the region’s Minister of Energy German Tyutyukov noted.
