Schoolchildren and students of the Arkhangelsk Polytechnic College will be able to master their skills of operating unmanned air vehicles in conditions close to real-life, the Arkhangelsk Government press service reports.The multifunctional platform is a fenced area with artificial turf covering 450 square meters, with a running track with rubber coating, and a walking zone. The regional budget has allocated 12.5 million rubles for its renovation.“The improvement of the outdoor flight area will help raise the quality of training specialists for operating unmanned air vehicles, which is highly demanded in various economic sectors of the region,” Deputy Chairman of the region’s government Ivan Dementyev noted.
