The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will be issued a treasury infrastructural loan worth 869 million rubles for the development of its housing and utilities infrastructure, Head of the Republic Aysen Nikolayev said on his Telegram page.
“We are speaking not only about upgrading housing and utilities facilities but also about creating confidence in the morrow. For each resident of the republic, heating in the house means health, security and peace of mind with regard to their near and dear,” he noted.
The loan will pay for the construction of three big gas-burning boiler houses in the Aldan District and for a renovation project on the heating networks in Neryungri.
The upgrade is aimed at increasing the reliability of heat supplies, reducing fuel-related expenditures, diminishing operational costs, and improving the environmental situation in the region.
