New floating pump station deployed in the Arctic
A unique floating pumping station has begun operations in northern Krasnoyarsk Territory to transport fuel from the Taimyr coastline to storage warehouses in the village of Tukhard.
With a capacity of 66-72 cubic meters per hour, it operates at 2-2.5 times the rate of the vessel previously used. Beyond its improved efficiency, the project also offers significant savings on leasing costs.
The mobile equipment will operate through the summer and fall seasons before being lifted ashore for winter storage.
