Northern Railway Freight Terminal upgraded in Syktyvkar
The modernized Northern Railway Freight Terminal was launched in Syktyvkar on August 20, according to the official portal of the Komi Republic.
The upgrade includes a 70% expansion of freight storage facilities, allowing for the storage of 774 TEU containers, as well as extended loading tracks, which will enable the processing of twice as many freight cars as before the upgrade.
According to the region’s government, the modernization of the Syktyvkar terminal is a strategic contribution to the transport infrastructure of the Komi Republic that will strengthen its economic potential.
