Within the Region’s territory, 264 projects are in progress, with a total declared investment volume of 215 billion rubles, as reported by Arkhangelsk Region Governor Alexander Tsybulsky during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.“Forty billion [rubles] have already been invested – these are operational facilities that are up and running. Thanks to this mechanism, we have created nearly 4,500 jobs,” the Governor stated.Addressing workforce development, Tsybulsky also underscored another key initiative: the launch of the Arctic Training Forest Firefighting Complex.“This is a critically important field. We are now beginning to train firefighters for the entire country,” he explained.Earlier reports indicated that the facility will provide training for smokejumpers, parachuting firefighters, instructors, wildfire suppression managers, forest firefighters, and tree fellers.
