Implementation of projects under Presidential Far Eastern Unified Subsidy discussed in Primorye
The status of projects financed through the Presidential Far Eastern Unified Subsidy was discussed during a working trip to the Primorye Territory by Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev.
In 2025, work is underway on 107 facilities across the Far Eastern Federal District as part of national projects. In Primorye, 12 new facilities are to be built and commissioned, and 89 are scheduled for renovation.
“The Matrossky Club in Vladivostok will be renovated to create a creative industries centre, and reconstruction work will take place at the stadium and sports complex in Bolshoi Kamen. We are also upgrading the road between the townships of Russky and Minka, and a new shooting centre, Vostok, will be established,” Oleg Kozhemyako said.
The meeting participants reviewed progress on a major project to build a new satellite city near Vladivostok. The initiative aims to create a comfortable, well-equipped and safe living environment for about 200,000 residents in the Vladivostok metropolitan area. Infrastructure development continues at the Zapadnaya site and other areas, including work on electricity and gas supply, as well as the design of utility networks. Discussions also covered investment opportunities for the first phase of the project. In particular, proposals were presented for the De-Friz site, where recreational, sports, business and residential facilities with a total area of up to 450,000-500,000 square meters are planned.
From 2018 through October 30, 2025, funds from the Presidential Far Eastern Unified Subsidy have supported the construction of 35 social and infrastructure facilities, including outpatient clinics, rural health posts, schools and sports halls, kindergartens, sports and cultural venues, and transport infrastructure. In addition, 58 social facilities have been renovated, 300 public spaces and 400 courtyards improved, and rental housing built or purchased for enterprise employees.
