A single preferential regime for businesses to be introduced in the Russian Far East and Arctic
President Vladimir Putin has issued instructions to launch a single preferential regime for businesses in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic as of January 1, 2027. A document to this effect has been published on the Kremlin’s official website.
It says that the Government will determine a set of benefits and preferences for businesses and retain the existing beneficial terms for residents of advanced development territories and the Free Port of Vladivostok.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been put in charge of implementing the instructions.
