There are plans to spend 186.1 million rubles’ worth of federal funding and 99.1 million rubles from the y budget on repairing and overhauling 13 water supply and drainage facilities, as per the press service of the Government of Karelia. Ten municipalities, including those in the Belomorsky, Kemsky and Kalevalsky districts (Arctic Karelia) will upgrade the utility infrastructure.It is intended to replace 28.5 kilometers of water supply and drainage networks across Karelia throughout 2026.
