Registration now open for Russian North indigenous youth forum

From November 18–21, Novy Urengoy will host Russian North, a nationwide forum for indigenous youth.

The event will bring together around 100 participants aged 14−35 from across Russia, including public figures, ethno-bloggers, and activists from the Movement of the First in Siberia, the North, and the Far East.

To participate, submit your application by September 18 on the Rosmolodezh.Forums platform. The forum is part of the national project Youth and Children.

Participants can also compete for grants of up to 1 million rubles to fund their own projects. This year’s Rosmolodezh.Grants competition includes 18 categories, supporting initiatives in youth employment, small-territory development, environmental awareness, youth and student communities, and preservation of cultural and family values.

Grant applications are open until October 1 on the Rosmolodezh.Grants website.
