Passengers in the Russian Far East will be able to buy subsidized air tickets online at the official site of the Far Eastern major air carrier, without the necessity to present original documents at ticket offices.According to the Ministry of Transport press service, it has become possible thanks to the information exchange agreement between the ministry’s Situational Information Center and Aurora Airlines. The agreement provides for integration with the automated information system that tracks subsidized air flights.“The system will automatically verify the right to a subsidy. This will facilitate issuing tickets, especially for the residents of remote settlements and mobility impaired people,” the ministry reports.Starting in early 2027, the technology is planned to be launched for passengers buying air tickets at special regional tariffs within their regions. Earlier, a similar system operated only with federal carriers.
