During a video conference to present new civil aviation facilities, Vladimir Putin instructed to consistently and comprehensively develop the country’s aviation network to improve the connectivity of remote areas, including in the Arctic and the Russian Far East.The President has also pointed out higher comfort and safety of air flights in the country. Since 2021, 20 runways and 26 airport terminal complexes have been put into operation. In addition, at least 75 airports across the country are to be modernized and renovated by 2030, which is more than a third of the entire airports network. “We will continue to provide all necessary assistance to the investors,” Vladimir Putin added.

During a video conference to present new civil aviation facilities, Vladimir Putin instructed to consistently and comprehensively develop the country’s aviation network to improve the connectivity of remote areas, including in the Arctic and the Russian Far East.
“For Russia, having a developed aviation network is an important factor in ensuring connectivity between regions and transport accessibility for remote areas, including in the Arctic, Siberia and in the Russian Far East,” the Kremlin website quotes the President as saying.
The President has also pointed out higher comfort and safety of air flights in the country. Since 2021, 20 runways and 26 airport terminal complexes have been put into operation.
