A chatbot in the MAX messenger will provide indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North with information about benefits and payments. The initiative was supported by Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Dmitry Artyukhov, the regional government press service reports.The new service will become part of Yamal’s unified digital system, alongside the integrated digital navigator, social navigator and other services.Today, specialists from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area’s Department for the Affairs of Indigenous Small –Numbered Peoples of the North, as well as the Area’s Situation Center, are currently working to build the chatbot’s database; 32 data cards have already been prepared, with another 20 in development. The database includes information on regional and municipal support measures.“Our objective is to make information instantly accessible to representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North. < … > With the chatbot, anyone will be able to check their status in just a couple of clicks and find out about current state support programs at all administrative levels in the region,” Head of the Section for Developing and ImplementingSupport Measures at the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area’s Department for the Affairs of Indigenous Small –Numbered Peoples of the North Grigory Lymar said.The completed database will be reviewed by relevant government agencies and local authorities, after which the service will officially launch.
