The 16-part series will showcase the best films submitted by participants in the Far East: Land of Adventure contest. The first episode will premiere on September 5 on the Moya Planeta (My Planet) TV channel, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy Yury Trutnevto the Far Eastern Federal District announced at the Eastern Economic Forum.In the premiere episode, viewers will travel to Mount Krenitsyn on Onekotan Island, explore Kamchatka and the rivers of Yakutia, and discover one of Russia’s most mysterious places – the Chara Sands.“We want as many people as possible to learn about the amazing places of the Far East and be inspired to visit the Primorye Territory, the Magadan Region, Kamchatka and Sakhalin, the Trans-Baikal Territoryand Yakutia. Every film submitted to the contest captures a traveler’s discoveries and experiences – and, of course, a test of willpower, because the routes chosen by the participants are often quite challenging. In my view, love for your country begins with getting to know it better. And to do that, you need to set out on your own journey and see just how beautiful Russia is,” the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy said.Yury Trutnev also addressed journalists and bloggers, inviting them to help shape an updated format for the contest.“Make your suggestions. If you see something that could be done better or an idea that could be improved, let us know,” he said.Applications for the fourth season of the Far East: Land of Adventure contest will be accepted until January 15, 2027. More than 200 films have already been submitted for judging.
