Government earmarks over 2.6 bln rubles for developing Far Eastern Federal District

Far Eastern regions are to receive additionally more than 2.6 billion rubles for implementing the plans of social development of the economic growth centers this year, the Government press service reports.
Ulan-Ude authorities are going to repair the central 10,000-capacity stadium using the federal subsidy; and in Magadan works to strengthen the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk from the Mayak Park to the infectious diseases hospital will be performed.
The government support will also be granted to the manufacturers of technology products in Buryatia, Yakutia, Trans-Baikal, Primorye and Khabarovsk territories, Amur and Magadan regions.
According to the report, economic growth centers in the Far Eastern Federal District are supported at the instruction of the President of Russia. It is aimed at creating a comfortable environment for life in cities and settlements as well as for tapping the economic potential of the Far Eastern regions.
