Since the launch of the competition’s fourth season, 219 films from across Russia have been submitted for jury review. This is 15 percent more than during the same period in 2025, according to the press service of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.Traditionally, the largest number of entries has come from residents of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions. However, submissions have also been received from the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Vologda, Kemerovo, Nizhny Novgorod, and Novosibirsk regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory.“We want to bring the Far East and the Arctic closer to people who enjoy active recreation and travel, introduce them to the unique nature and traditions of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions, and showcase the beauty of their volcanoes, seas, hills, and mountains. And, of course, we want to inspire people to test their strength and spirit by taking on new and exciting routes,” said Yury Trutnev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District and initiator of the competition.The Walking Trip category leads in the number of entries, with 139 films submitted. The Water Trip category has received 33 entries, followed by Arctic Journey with 22, Winter Journey with 15, and Victory Paths with 10.To enter the competition, participants must make a short film of up to eight minutes about their trip to the Far East or the Arctic and submit it through the competition website путешественникдв.рф by January 15, 2027.
