Over 27 billion rubles to be allocated for modernizing airports in Yakutia

The program, which will run through 2030, provides for putting into operation airports in Olyokminsk, Polyarny, Nyurba, Zyryanka and Mirny, the press service of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reports.
Construction of a new airport complex is already underway in Mirny. Work is currently in progress on the airfield, as well as new passenger and cargo terminals.
In Zyryanka, a new airport is planned to be built at a flood-safe site. At Nyurba airport, work will include replacing the ground surfaces, reconstructing the patrol road and perimeter fencing. The project also includes installing radio, lighting and meteorological equipment, as well as building new facilities, including parking hangars, an emergency and rescue station, a fuel storage facility, a checkpoint, and water drainage and treatment systems.
The project is being financed from the federal budget under the Efficient Transport System national project.
