This year betterment works will be performed at 46 public spaces in Yakutsk as well as in 12 districts of the republic, including Aldansky, Amginsky, Bulunsky, Verkhnevilyuysky, Vilyuysky, Gorny, Lensky, Megino-Kangalassky, Namsky, Nyurbinsky, Tattinsky and Ust-Aldansky districts.
According to the press service of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the improvement of building grounds, parks and public spaces incorporates the opinions of local residents.
In the next three years, the region is to allot over a half of the national projects’ budgets for infrastructure upgrade and repairs.
“Our goal, notwithstanding the objective budgetary limitations, is to seek constant improvement of the environment for the life of Yakutia residents,” head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, emphasized earlier in his message to the State Assembly (Il Tumen).
The republic has improved 153 public spaces under the federal program Comfortable Urban Environment since 2019 to better the infrastructure for more than 150,000 residents of Yakutia.
