Artificial intelligence facilitates the rapid identification of situations where a child may require an adult’s intervention – whether the child is crying for a long period, has been left unattended, is exposed to profanity, or encounters any other form of unacceptable behavior, affirmed Zoya Chernysheva, Director of the Department of Education of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.Following the successful pilot implementation of the system across three municipalities – Salekhard, the Nadym District, and the Priuralsky District – Governor Dmitry Artyukhov endorsed the initiative to expand the project to include all kindergartens throughout the region. According to Governor Artyukhov, video analytics impacts not only safety protocols but also the quality of engagement with children.“I am confident that in this way we will be able not only to identify and address issues but also to determine which educational institutions provide the most favorable conditions. The directors of such institutions, along with their educators, will be showcased as models, allowing them to share their exemplary practices,” Dmitry Artyukhov emphasized.
