There are plans to sign more than 350 agreements at the Eastern Economic Forum this year, said Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev following his working visit to the region. He also noted that to date the region is ahead of the target rates in attracting investments to the amount of 12 trillion rubles by 2030.The main theme of the EEF 2026 is The Far East: Development for the Benefit of People. The forum is expected to be visited by delegations from not less than 75 countries.“As for foreign guests, the 10th EEF last year was attended by 75 countries... We have a feeling that the number of guests will be the same, it won’t be less,” Yury Trutnev added.The EEF 2026 program is divided into five areas: Living and Working in the Far East, Mechanisms for Attracting Private Investments, Far East – A Pole of International Interaction, Technologies of the Present and the Future, Logistics and Infrastructure for Economic Growth.

There are plans to sign more than 350 agreements at the Eastern Economic Forum this year, said Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev following his working visit to the region. He also noted that to date the region is ahead of the target rates in attracting investments to the amount of 12 trillion rubles by 2030.
“Our plans are to enter into over 350 agreements, 385 as of now, worth in total 6.5 trillion rubles. It’s a record. We have never had agreements in such amount. However, we are trying to fulfill the task set by Vladimir Putin. He instructed us to achieve the level of 12 trillion rubles in attracted investments in the Far East by 2030. It is a very large figure. At present, we have about half of it,” stressed Yury Trutnev.
