Medical clinics in the Kamchatka Territory are staffed by 72.4 percent; this is more than in most other Russian regions. The authorities continue to systematically attract specialists from other Russian territories, as per the press service of the Government of the Kamchatka Territory.“This is a good indicator, but there is still a shortage of medical personnel, and we continue to attract qualified specialists,” Minister of Healthcare of the Kamchatka Territory, Alexander Nokhrin, stressed.To reduce personnel shortages, the ministry actively implements targeted education programs. This includes 80 specialist training vacancies and over 170 internship vacancies. All offers are posted on the Jobs in Russia website.Various incentives, including lumpsum payments, housing rental subsidies and the provision of corporate housing, are stipulated for attracting medical personnel into the region’s state-run clinics.“These measures make it possible to annually employ 250 doctors and 300 paramedics and nurses at the region’s state-run clinics,” Head of the Legal Support and HR Policy Department at the Ministry of Healthcare of the Kamchatka Territory, Roman Kovalchyuk, noted.In 2025, 19 specialists received jobs at medical clinics of the Kamchatka Territory in accordance with the Rural Doctor and Rural Paramedic programs.
