Fuel companies should pay particular attention to supplying fuel to the Far North, the Russian Far East, and Siberia, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at a meeting on regional supplies as part of the Northern Delivery program.
The meeting participants reviewed fuel deliveries to regions participating in the Northern Delivery program, including the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Magadan Region, Chukotka Autonomous Area, and Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Participants also examined the current situation in regional domestic fuel markets, existing petroleum product inventories, the status and operation of logistics routes, and the functioning of the fuel distribution network.
According to the Russian Government’s website, particular emphasis was placed on ensuring the timely delivery of essential fuel supplies to remote communities.
