S7 Airlines will increase the number of flights to Chita and Ulan-Ude. On the Moscow–Chita route, the number of flights will increase to 14 per week starting June 29. On the Moscow–Ulan-Ude route, the airline will add one more daily flight starting June 21 and the total number of flights will make up 21 per week, the airline’s press service reports.

Buryatia and Transbaikalia are expected to attract tourists by their unique nature, cultural traditions and history.

“Chita is Transbaikalia’s administrative center, a city of rich history and a merchant's past, as well as an ideal beginning for acquaintance with the region’s unique nature: from steppes to mountain ridges. Ulan-Ude is the capital of Buryatia, where European architecture is oddly intertwined with Buddhist traditions. Travelers will find here not only Russia’s largest Buddhist monastery—the Ivolginsky Datsan—but also the opportunity to feel the Xiongnu culture and taste authentic Buryat buuz,” reads the airline’s report.
