Chukotka to receive 24,000 metric tons of goods this season

They have started loading cargo ships at the Vladivostok seaport; the ships will deliver foodstuffs and general cargos to the ports of Provideniya, Egvekinot and Anadyr, as per the press service of the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Area.
According to the region’s Governor Vladislav Kuznetsov, all the main consignments will be delivered on a par with the joint marine operator to remote villages located on unequipped shorelines.
“Additionally, 212,700 metric tons of coal, 140,000 metric tons of diesel fuel and 31,200 metric tons of TS-1 aviation fuel will be shipped in accordance with the 2026 northern deliveries program,” Vladislav Kuznetsov wrote in his social media accounts.
