Northern Fleet Commander Admiral Konstantin Kabantsov chaired a meeting of the Northern Fleet’s Military Council whose members summed up the fleet’s performance.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Information Policy of the Murmansk Region, the admiral noted that the fleet had effectively accomplished all 2025 tasks it had been assigned for 2025
“Elements of the Northern Fleet accomplish strategic deterrence objectives in tactically important sectors of the world’s oceans. Several events, including ten long-range missions, were effectively implemented during the winter period. All units involved in the special military operation are combat-ready and successfully accomplish their objectives,” Konstantin Kabantsov said.
Murmansk Region Governor Andrei Chibis also took part in the meeting. During the event, he presented honorary gubernatorial badges For Valiant Service in the Polar Region to service members.
“I would like to express gratitude on behalf of the Government of the Murmansk Region and all Northerners to military personnel of the Northern Fleet who address national security issues in the Arctic and selflessly confront the enemy in the zone of the special military operation. In turn, we are doing our best to facilitate the region’s development, the prosperity of garrisons where our defenders and their families live,” Andrei Chibis noted.
