A major logistic terminal in the Far Eastern District has been launched

A ceremony marking the commissioning of the initial stage of the multifunctional railway terminal complex Blagoveshchensk Dry Port was held at the AmurExpo 2026, the press service of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic reports.
The project implies building of railway infrastructure at the Beryozovsky-Vostochny station of the Transbaikal Railway for container cargo transshipment and cargo traffic maintenance between Russia and China. The terminal is an element of the Amur Corridor transport-logistic project.

“It will link the Blagoveshchensk – Heihe motorway bridge with the railway and open opportunities for developing multimodal logistics. In addition, we expect the project to become a key transport hub for the Amur Gas Chemical Cluster,” said Amur Region Governor Vasily Orlov at the ceremony.

The complex’ initial capacity is 520,000 tons of cargoes per year. The plans are to double its throughput capacity by 2030. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, over 1.3 billion rubles have already been invested in the project while the declared investments makes up 3.8 billion rubles.
It has also been reported that the plans include building a logistic hub and a technology park on the basis of the terminal by 2030.
