Made in the Far East forum to focus on audio-visual content
Participants in the 2026 forum Made in the Far East: From Content to Capital will focus on audio-visual content, and AI technologies, as per a news conference dealing with the event.
The participants told journalists about the forum’s program and its main goal, specifically, forging a Far Eastern economy by establishing a creative infrastructure and promoting and developing local brands.
The forum’s venues and program are being updated all the time, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Elvira Nurgaliyeva noted.
“We are counting on productive collaboration, and we will sign a number of specific contracts during the forum. Apart from audio-visual content, we are planning to organize an art market because the Far East is also renowned for its artists and modern art spaces; our neighbors in China and Mongolia are extremely interested in them,” she added.
According to Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov, the forum will mostly amaze everyone with the beauty and cultural diversity of Buryatia; there are plans to hold a food festival and a souvenirs fair.
The forum also plays an important role in regional and nationwide economic development.
“It is important that we establish not only a platform for communications, but that we also eventually combine our creative potential and cooperation, so that creative industries would be converted into the national economy,” Deputy Federation Council Speaker Inna Svyatenko noted.
The news conference participants added that a new Arctic section will be included in the 2026 forum.
