Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yury Trutnev, took part in a meeting on the development of the Russian Arctic Zone and the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor. He informed Vladimir Putin about the successful implementation of projects in the Arctic and future plans for regional work.In his report, Yury Trutnev noted that the opinion of regional residents had been factored in while drafting these plans. Today, people are mostly interested in the development of the healthcare system, the utility infrastructure, housing and roads, Yury Trutnev said."Of the 516 projects included in the plans, 78 are meant to create and modernize utility infrastructure facilities; 33 deal with healthcare facilities, and 77 prioritize transport and logistic facilities. Twenty projects are to be implemented in the housing construction sector, and over 80 are linked with science and education. Over 100 facilities are currently being built and modernized", Mr. Trutnev added.According to Yury Trutnev, over 70 billion rubles are to be allocated for implementing master plans in 2026-2028.The implementation of these plans will make it possible to considerably improve living standards, and this will create favorable conditions for implementing new investment projects, he noted.
