The 7th International Conference “Shipbuilding in the Arctic: Fleet Construction and Maintenance, Innovations and Competences”
The 7th International Conference “Shipbuilding in the Arctic: Fleet Construction and Maintenance, Innovations and Competences”
The Arkhangelsk-based Laverov Research Center for Integrated Arctic Research of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences will host the conference on April 23-24 of this year.
The event will be attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, Arctic shipbuilding leaders, and leading scientists, who will discuss how to achieve technological sovereignty in a forbidding Arctic environment.
Its agenda is divided into two parts. On April 23, the experts will focus on implementing the state shipbuilding and fleet renovation policy. The next day, current ship repair issues, import substitution, and technological advancement will be debated.
