1,016 apartments with a total floor area of over 68,000 square meters have been put into service under housing programs and for individual acquisition during the first three months of 2026, Press Service of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area’s Government reports.Leading in the amount of new housing built is Novy Urengoy with 16,500 square meters, followed by Gubkinsky with 13,400 square meters, and Salekhard with 11,000 square meters.In 2025, the region commissioned 333,300 square meters of housing, an absolute record in the past 30 years. YNAA Governor Dmitry Artyukhov has set the task of building another one million square meters of housing before 2030.As of now, there are 232 houses for 14,247 apartments with a total floor area of 735,000 square meters under construction in Yamal.
