A new deliberative agency will synchronize northern deliveries’ timeframes, freight shipments and icebreaker support issues in a key sector of the Arctic Ocean, as per Rosatom State Corporation.This coordination mechanism will make it possible to more reliably meet the needs of Russia’s Arctic territories and major industrial projects and to strengthen the positions of the Northern Sea Route in global logistics.The command center includes representatives of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Glavsevmorput (Main Northern Sea Roue Administration), the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosatom, the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Area, the management of the Pevek seaport, key consignors and shipowners.
