About 150 alumni of Muravyov-Amursky 2030, a managerial human resources training program, have found employment in regions of the Russian Far East, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Alexei Chekunkov told participants in a Moscow-Yakutia video conference.According to the minister, the contest for the first group in 2022 was over 40 people per vacancy, with 2,000 applications submitted.“We see the program commanding increasingly more interest. There are more than 10,000 applications for the fifth batch we are going to launch in May of this year, which amounts to 160 people per vacancy,” he added.The one-year training program is run by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic jointly with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation with support from partner universities. Students are offered nine face-to-face modules in regions of the Russian Far East and Arctic, one international module in PRC cities, and three levels of probation training.
