Under the document, the regional ministry, as well as the Bulunsky. Allaikhovsky, Zhigansky, Srednekolymsky, Nizhnekolymsky, Verkhnekolymsky and Oymyakonsky districts, will jointly preserve cultural heritage landmarks and sites, support folk arts and crafts and performers and implement state cultural programs in the next few years, as per the press service of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
“This event is called on to strengthen cooperation in the field of cultural development and to help people in even the remotest municipalities access cultural achievements,” the region’s Minister of Culture and Spiritual Development Afanasy Noyev noted.
According to the minister, the districts will obtain complete methodological and financial support under the cooperation agreement.
Earlier, the Ministry of Culture of Yakutia signed similar agreements with the republic’s Momsky, Lensky, Mirninsky. Neryungrinsky and Verkhnevilyuisky districts.
