In 2026, spaces of 57 schools, kindergartens and additional education institutions will be upgraded, as per the press service of the Government of the Murmansk Region.The works are underway in accordance with the regional Arctic School project, launched in 2021. Themed classes will be established at education institutions, and adjacent territories will also be improved.“The project covers all regional schools, and the program received 1.2 billion rubles in the past six years. This implies equal opportunities for our children, including engineering courses, robotics, AI technologies and drones – everything they need for their future careers,” Murmansk Region Governor Andrei Chibis noted.Today, 399 new up-to-date facilities are reserved for school students and preschoolers.
