Farms purchasing photon disinfection systems and robotic cultivators will be able to obtain subsidies reimbursing them for 50 percent of equipment costs, as per the press service of the Amur Region Government.Agrarians working in the region’s northern districts will be able to obtain compensation for 50 percent of harvester and tractor costs. They will also receive 5,000 rubles for every ton of fertilizers.“The region is planning to compensate part of equipment and fertilizer purchase expenses. We will also incentivize those purchasing modern farming equipment. Progress is not standing idle, and agrarian enterprises will boost their harvests as soon as they start using new technologies,” the head of the region, Vasily Orlov, noted.He added that the regional agro-industrial complex was currently receiving support in 48 spheres, including the development of the plant-growing and livestock-breeding sectors, as well as assistance for small businesses.
