Ten projects worth 20.7 billion rubles have been implemented, and another 13 projects are to be implemented in 2026, Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev stated following a meeting on the implementation of the Magadan Master Plan.“To date, the budgets of all levels are to allocate 71 billion rubles or 53 percent of the required funds. These instruments include infrastructure treasury loans, the writing off of two thirds of debts, the Far Eastern Concession, and the presidential subsidy. We will work to secure 100 percent of funding,” Yury Trutnev emphasized.The priorities include the renovation of housing, the improvement of public spaces, and the repair of roads and pavements, Magadan Region Governor Sergei Nosov said.“This year, we are launching the implementation of several major projects, namely the Infectious Disease Hospital, the second stage of coast protection, a municipal solid waste landfill, a museum, and the redevelopment of the obstetrics department as a children’s outpatient clinic. We have launched the construction of a four-star hotel and are working on a design of the Russia exhibition center,” Nosov said.Other plans provide for completing the construction of a maternity hospital, a multidiscipline rehabilitation center, a year-round ski jumping facility, a ski stadium named after Yelena Välbe, and several other facilities. The city authorities will also improve courtyards, and build electricity and heat supply networks. The construction of a marine tourism center is to be completed in 2027. The design and survey work for the Marine Logistics Complex has been completed.The meeting participants also discussed the disposal of federal funds allocated via the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic within the Presidential Far Eastern Subsidy. Since 2023, 13.4 billion rubles have been allocated for 11 projects, including the renovation of the Advanced Professional Training Center, and the improvement of courtyards and nine social facilities within the Far Eastern Concession program.Another issue on the agenda concerned the development of the Talaya Health Resort, where 364 people will be able to combine leisure and treatment in four comfortable accommodation blocks, including a separate block for over 50 children.
